Manny Machado-MLB’s New Identity and Ping-Pong

One of baseball’s best young players, Manny Machado of the Baltimore Orioles, is part of Major League Baseball’s new identity.

Manny Machado is one of the many Orioles who works on his ping-pong as the Orioles are big into ping-pong. The Orioles Gold Glove shortstop JJ Hardy is likely 1800+ in USATT rating according to Larry Hodges of the Maryland TTC who has seen him play against rated players. This would make Hardy one of the best (and possibly the best) table-tennis players among athletes from other sports.
Here’s an article of the top juniors of MDTTC being invited to the Orioles clubhouse and playing the Orioles players. It includes GIFs of top US junior Derek Nie of the MDTTC, who I have played a couple times, playing ping-pong with the Orioles.
