They are inviting the world’s best players to take part in this championships run by 11Even Sports (ESPL) which will take place in Mumbai, Delhi, and one other city. ESPL is owned by Vita Dani who is a cousin of the billion-dollar Ambani family in India and the Championships are directed by Indian Olympian and 8-time Indian Champion Kamlesh Mehta. Mehta is one of the only non-Chinese players to defeat a Chinese player in the Olympics as he defeated Lu Lin at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Vita Dani’s son Mudit Dani has played international junior tournaments for India and won medals.

Table-tennis is very popular to play for fun schools, colleges, and companies in India but the level of play and coaching is not the same as China.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
