2023 US Nationals-Tanishq wins 2 gold, 1 bronze!

Fremont Table Tennis Academy students attended the 2023 US nationals in Fort Worth, Texas this past week. It was overall a great experience with many ups and downs in each individual match and in the overall tournament! Fremont Table Tennis Academy students at the last major tournament, the 2022 US Open in December,  won 7 medals by the 7 students that stayed the full week. This time, Tanishq Dhavali was the big winner with 2 gold medals (under 1500, under 1400) and 1 bronze medal (under 1600). Adult player Vinay won silver (under 1700) and bronze (3100 doubles).There were many quarterfinal finishes and round of 16 finishes as well. Mihika Vangapalli, Saatwik Muthukumar, Tega Sebeni, and Rohan Bubna reached quarterfinals so were one match away from a medal. Students are more motivated to train and perform and look forward to the 2023 US Open which will again be in Ontario, CA in December.

The 2025 Newark Butterfly West Coast Teams tournament took place this past weekend with a chance to burn off the Thanksgiving calories. 2025 Fremont TTA Butterfly October Open

The 2025 Fremont TTA Butterfly October Open took place this past Saturday, October 18 featuring close to 100 players. It will be the final singles tournament hosted by Fremont TTA of 2025 but there will be a 2-person team event, the 2025 Newark Butterfly West Coast Teams, on Thanksgiving weekend (Sat, Nov 29). Players battled all day for trophies, medals, rating points, and bragging rights! Players tor each multiple finals were Ruhaan Pukala (1st-U1600, 1st-U1300, 2nd-U1900), Dewei (Frank) Sun (1st-Seniors 50+, 2nd-Open Doubles), Arkaprabho Ghosh (2nd-U1600, 2nd-Open Doubles), and Ethan Alex (2nd-U50, 2nd-U25).
