Fremont Table Tennis Academy sent 9 of its best students to the US Open in Ontario, CA this past week playing against the best players in North America. Students showed good team spirit, supported each other, and went through the ups and downs that go along with every major tournament. There were many exciting, tense, and close matches of which we came home with 3 medals….

The 2023 West Coast Teams tournament featured 15 teams battling in 3 divisions over the Thanksgiving weekend, November 24-26! The finalists in Division 1 were Team O’Boll (Rohan Bubna, Umar Iqbal) over Team Underdogs (Yuchen Wang, Mingxiang Fan). Division 2 featured Team Spin Sprinters (Rayan Chatterjee, Pradeep Srinivasan) over Team Goats (Vihan Bagal, Kyle Liang) in the final. Division 3 featured the Dragons (Myo Thein, Ria Chatterjee) over Twin Trouble (Jai Jadhav, Om Jadhav) in the final….

The 2023 Newark Butterfly September Open tournament has drawn to a triumphant close at the esteemed Siliman Center. Throughout the day, competitors engaged in fierce battles across an array of events, each vying for the coveted trophies and medals on offer.
