The first division will feature 5 kids who will have a chance at making the mini-cadet boys national team this year during the US Nationals in July in Las Vegas: Mudit Mahajan, Ashwin Sankuratri, Samarth Ramesh, Rithwik Vaidun, and Jimmy Goodwin. The second division features some creative names! The top 4 teams in each division will make the playoffs. The 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th divisions all feature 6 teams where many matches likely being able to go either way.
We got some creative nicknames from Team O’Boll (named after German legend Timo Boll), Circuit Breakers (for the robotics team of Rishi Singh and Shardul Marathe), All the Singles Ladies (come up by Isaac Solnick who has a girl partner), The Table Twins (for Yajat and Vedant), Double A Batteries (for a team of two names starting with A), Future MVPS (two young upcoming kids who won their first match 5-0), SuperSmashBros (for Varun Challa and Suhaas Vemuri), Pong Typhoons (come up by Priyanshu Ghosh), and Ping Pong Rockstars (come up by two Riyas). Some named their teams after their school from Hornets to Wolfe Pack.
