Saturday, and Sunday (April 14-16). There will be trophies for 1st and 2nd and medals for 3rd and 4th place in each event. All events will start with a round robin phase and then proceed to single elimination. There is free admission for anyone coming to watch the tournament.

Event winners at a recent Fremont Table Tennis Academy tournament.

The first day, Friday, will feature the 3 lowest-rated events but will be the toughest to win in terms of entries. The Under 500 event will kick things off at 6 PM featuring 12 entries. Then comes the Under 300 and Under 100 that have the most entries among tournament events at nearly 20 each.

James Therriault of Sacramento is the top seed in the Under 2500 event and he has won it at a Fremont TTA Open before!

The highest-rated event, the Under 2500, will kick things off on Saturday at 9 AM. Lobber-extraordinaire James Therriault from Sacramento is the top seed and he will be challenged by a mixture of promising young players and experienced adults. Top Fremont TTA junior Pranav Tantravahi is the top seed in the next two highest-rated events, the Under 2300 and Under 2100. He has been training hard recently after a month break and is one of the favorites in the 3 highest-rated events.

Events such as Under 900, Under 1100, and Under 1300 feature primarily adults and most events have a mixture.

Good luck to all competitors! [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
