NBA Legend Paul Pierce retires from the NBA after 19 seasons after the LA Clippers were eliminated in this year’s NBA playoffs by the Utah Jazz.
He is a 10-time All-Star and 2008 NBA Champion and NBA Finals MVP with the Boston Celtics where he spent most of his career. His Boston Celtics teammate, Ray Allen, who was part of the Big 3 that led them to the NBA championship along with Pierce and Kevin Garnett, came to watch table-tennis at the 2000 Sydney Olympics along with other USA Men’s Basketball Team Members when they won gold. Pierce finishes 15th on the NBA scoring list in points all-time and is likely headed to the NBA Hall of Fame.
