2017 NorCal Juniors League-Division 6 Final Report

He went undefeated in singles, doubles, team, and in the playoffs.
In the final, he led The Pros to a win against the upcoming youngsters, Ryan Chen and Ayaan Hassan of Future MVPs. Pranav won both singles and doubles to lead his team. He was the clear MVP of the league going 10-0 in singles, 5-0 in doubles, and 5-0 in team in the regular season.

In the semis, The Pros defeated Thunderbolts (Arnav Beedu, Nivedha Radhakrishnan) 4-1 and Future MVPs defeated The Deflectors (Daksh Gorecha, Karthik Sundar) 3-2.

Division 6 featured a lot of young players that could be good tournament players one day. The all-division team featured Pranav Sreeram, Ryan Chen (Future MVPS), Arnav Beedu (Thunderbirds), Daksh Gorecha (The Deflectors) and Karthik Sundar (The Deflectors).

2025 US Open

2025 US Open: Sid Medals, 7 5th Place Finishes or Better

Fremont Table Tennis Academy advanced students went to the 2025 US Open in Las Vegas, Nevada which featured 1300 of the best players in North America and some other top international players. The serious advanced students train year-round to try to perform well in these tournaments. Students to go were Mihika, Raghav, Anchit, Hasini, Isha, Smayan, Kavi, Siddanth, and Kethan. Raghav, Anchit, Hasini, Isha, Kavi, Siddanth, and me all reached the quarters or better in a rating category highlighted by Siddanth’s bronze medal in the Under 1000 rating event….

2025 Butterfly Thanksgiving Teams

The 2025 Newark Butterfly West Coast Teams tournament took place this past weekend with a chance to burn off the Thanksgiving calories. Each player played more matches than a normal tournament with singles and doubles both in play. Team tournaments are usually more fun than singles tournaments. More players went home with trophies than not. Teams were divided into 3 divisions with the winning teams being Alex Tre for Division 1, Titans (Vipin, Isha) for Division 2, and Team Champions (Arnav, Dylan) for Division 3….
