It was televised on TV in India and streamed live and was very professionally presented. It was a good chance for the top Indian players to compete with top foreign players on home soil. I played seriously at a different time than most of the players so don’t know them personally except Par Gerell. I lived and practiced with him in 2000 in Sweden. He was one of the older players in the league and on the winning Falcons TTC team. Amitabh Bachchan, arguably the most famous Indian actor of all-time, watched the finals in person.
