About 30 teams will compete in the 2017 West Coast Teams in Livermore this Thanksgiving weekend. There will be a strong field with 20 players rated over 2,000 taking part. Teams will be separated into 4 divisions based on the average rating of the top two players. Teams can be promoted or relegated for the rest of the tournament based on initial inter-division matches. All teams in their division will play each other with the top 4 finishing teams advancing to the semifinals. There will be a total of $3,000 prize money and $800 of Xiom gift certificates to be given out along with trophies to each team member of the top 4 finishing teams in each division.
