Rishi Gopalan narrowly lost his semifinal in the Under 2000 Division A to get the bronze. Arnav Khinvasara is in the semifinals of Under 1500 to be played tomorrow so he is assured of a medal as well but the color is to be determined.
He was not among the first 30 seeds in Under 1500 but won his first 3 matches 3-0 and then won the round of 16 match 3-1 and came back from down 2-0 in the quarterfinals to win 3-2, 11-9 in the 5th! We had a group dinner at the Bahama Breeze restaurant and now are getting some rest to be ready for tomorrow. Tomorrow is a busy day of play.
