Fremont Table Tennis Academy is happy to be a Butterfly club. The sponsorship began in the later part of 2020 and has renewed in 2021. Butterfly sponsors many of the world-class players including former World #1s Timo Boll and Dimitrij Ovtcharov. Butterfly has the world’s premier equipment and is widely used by table-tennis fans everywhere. Fremont Table Tennis Academy now carries the best-selling Butterfly equipment such as the Dignics and Tenergy rubber series and the popular Viscaria, Primorac, and Timo Boll blades. FTTA also has free 2021 Butterfly calendars to give away featuring the top Butterfly-sponsored players in the world. They are available for pick up at the Fremont and San Ramon branches.

The 2026 Fremont TTA Butterfly August Open closed out the summer with an exciting day of play with trophies, medals, and rating points up for grabs. It took place at the usual tournament venue, the Siliman Center. The next tournament will take place at Fremont Table Tennis Academy tentatively on October 16-18 with the tournament calendar year closed with a 2-person Thanksgiving team tournament again at the Siliman Center. The big winner of this tournament was again Ayaan Mohan who won three 1st places and two 2nd places.
